The seminar is designed for teachers in the region who seek to deepen their knowledge, confidence, and skills for teaching challenging content related to Holocaust and Human Rights issues. The seminar’s content is processed through inquiry-based reflective writing. Additionally, highlights include accomplished facilitators, captivating guest speakers, and compelling field experiences including visits to the Evansville African American Museum, the Rechnic Holocaust Exhibit at the Wartime Museum, and Temple Adath B’nai Israel.
Educators will be re-energized with quality resources and the opportunity to develop action plans for their own classrooms, which they can discuss and refine with fellow participants. CEUs are available upon request for a small fee, with the opportunity for graduate credits.
